Adding photos and images to your self-hosted WordPress site is an easy process. Once you are logged in to your WordPress account, click on “Media” in the left navigation menu. This will take you to your photo library page where all of your site images reside. In the upper left portion of the page, you will see an “Add New” button.
Click on the button and you will see a section above your photos where you can drag in your new images or upload directly from your computer file.
Once loaded, your new image will appear in the photo library (should be in the first position). If you click on the image, you will see an area for adding or changing the image title, caption, Alt text and description.
