Large image file sizes can have a big negative impact on the load time of your website. Slow load time, equals more bounces and poorer Google search results. One easy way to reduce the file size of your JPEG image is to crop it. But let’s assume you’ve already cropped it and the image file is still too big (300kb Plus). Fortunately there are a few free online resources you can use which will compress or reduce the file size of your image by as much as 80% without much loss of resolution.
Here are two that work really well. Just upload your image and the compression will automatically begin (usually just a few seconds). Then download the reduced image to your computer. You may see a tiny loss in resolution, but for the most part, it’s not noticeable.
